I animated this snappy intro in Adobe After Effects. I created, layered, and animated patterns and shapes, adding some pre-made motion graphics (the circles and bursts) in there.

The Speaking Center Promo
The UAF Speaking Center came to us for a promotional video. They had no ideas, so I took the lead and directed our media team. Together we drafted a script and storyboarded. I directed, sometimes operated the camera (LUMIX GH5 on a Ronin gimble), and edited/color graded.
Learnies Film Fest Intro
This is another hand-animated project. I drew it frame-by-frame in Photoshop on a Wacom tablet. I storyboarded the idea and animated it to the music. I had a strict deadline and completed it in a couple days.
The Unsafety Lab
This is an instructional online lab. I operated camera and set up lighting on this small shoot. I edited the footage/audio. I hand-animated the intro, transitions, and text with photoshop on a Wacom tablet.
UAF Promos
For this project I was given a paper-edit to follow. I cut the interview accordingly, added the b-roll, edited the audio, color-graded and exported.
History of Sport
I was assigned to work on this course’s videos to spruce them up and make be more exciting. I added colorful and zippy transitions. I edited fun little intros out of the b-roll for each video. I created some simple motion graphics/animated text and found relevant stock photos.
A Beaver Metaphor
This was a fun little project. I was given the challenge to animate an instructor’s script within a few hours. I had my friend record the script. I drew the beavers and backgrounds in photoshop on a WACOM drawing pad. I brought it into After Effects. I used basic position key frames for most of the animation, with some wiggle effects. I added in some sound effects, edited the audio, and a beaver metaphor was brought to life.
I Felt UAF
This is a UAF eCampus production. I used Photoshop to cut out all the felt creatures and shapes, then brought the assets into After Effects. I collaborated with my coworker to animate the critters. This was my first time experimenting with math expressions in After Effects, particularly the looping with the sun, fish, and owls.
Dear Satan
This was my first short film. I collaborated with UAF Film Club. I directed, storyboarded, and edited it myself. I loved figuring out the special effects and lighting on this film. The script is so cute and charming.
A Night For Conversation
This was a UAF Department of Theatre & Film class production. This was the second department film I worked on. I was chosen by the faculty and director to be cinematographer. I had weekly meetings with the director and my camera department. I became very familiar with the script and storyboarded with the director. I worked closely with the production designers to communicate what would be on camera.
